Есть временная регистрация, есть постоянная регистрация. Есть регистрация по месту жительства. А еще была прописка. Она сейчас сохранилась? Правильно ли я понимаю, что это всё — одно и тоже?
Постоянная регистрация – это аналог прописки в СССР. Регистрация по месту жительства заменила прописку.
Разница между пропиской в СССР и постоянной регистрацией по месту жительства в России: в СССР прописка зависела от государства. Местные власти могли дать разрешение на проживание, а могли и запретить. В современной России регистрация носит уведомительный характер. Гражданин сам выбирает место жительства и сообщает об этом государству, то есть уведомляет власти, регистрируя свое проживание.
Многие граждане по привычке постоянную регистрацию называют пропиской. Юридически правильно – регистрация, а прописка – это пережиток прошлого.
Место жительства – это место, в котором гражданин постоянно или преимущественно проживает на основании какого-либо права (собственности или найма). Место жительства – это дом, квартира, общежитие.
Место пребывания – это место, в которое гражданин прибыл для временного нахождения. Место пребывания – это гостиницы, пансионаты, санатории, либо жилое помещение, не являющееся местом жительства гражданина.
Существует два типа регистрации:
- постоянная — по месту жительства
- временная — по месту пребывания
